NRC Committee
The Nelson Rowing Club is run by a volunteer committee of seven members who are in charge of the day to day running of the club. They meet at least once a month to go over the club's finances and membership, organise funding, fundraising and sponsorship opportunities, ensure the club's plant and equipment is regularly maintained and updated, discuss any health and safety issues that arise, as well as any other business that needs attending to. The 2024/25 Committee are holding their committee meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Please contact a committee member (see below contact details) if you wish to attend a meeting or have an item that you would like to discuss.
At the Annual General Meeting which is held in August each year, the committee for the following year is elected, remits are discussed and voted on, and the subscription fees for the upcoming year are agreed.
